Terms of Use

The SHio Event website is run by Individual Entrepreneur (FOP) Iryna Burman, tax ID 3506006167, Odesa, Ukraine. Using the site means you accept these terms.

The information on the site is general. We try to keep it accurate and up to date, but it may contain errors or changes not yet updated. Photos are for illustration only.

Sending a form on the site is an enquiry only and creates no obligation for either side. We will get back to you as soon as we can.

SHio operates and provides the SHio Event service, with which an event organizer builds a page for their guests: invitation, directions and parking, RSVP and seating. The organizer is the publisher of the content of the event page and is responsible for everything they write and upload to it — names, photos, guest details, parking prices and notes. Only invite through the service people you know and who are happy to receive a message from you.

Information about parking, curb colors and prices is guidance only. Part of it is collected automatically from open maps (OpenStreetMap) and part is written by the organizer; we do not check it on the ground. The street sign and the city's rules always take priority.

Prices: one event for a couple or family — ₪79; a wedding venue — ₪390 once, for all of its events. Outside Israel the price is shown in your currency (in Ukraine — in hryvnias, elsewhere — in US dollars). The price that applies is the one shown in your account before you pay. An event with up to 15 invitations (lines in the guest list) works fully and for free; above that, payment is requested. In the European Union online payment is not available yet — write to us and we will open the event for you.

Payment: the pay button opens the secure payment page of monobank (the Ukrainian bank «Universal Bank», plata by mono service) — Visa or Mastercard, Apple Pay or Google Pay. SHio is a Ukrainian business, so the card is charged in Ukrainian hryvnias: in Ukraine — the hryvnia price as shown; elsewhere the amount is calculated from the price at the official National Bank of Ukraine rate on the day of payment, minus 5% in your favour and rounded down, and is shown on the payment page before you confirm. Any conversion fee of your card issuer is not SHio's. We never receive or store your card details. The seller is not a VAT payer and does not charge VAT; the receipt monobank sends is not a tax invoice.

Cancellation and refunds: you may cancel and get a full refund, with no cancellation fee, within 14 days of payment — as long as the event date has not yet come (for a venue — as long as none of the venue's events has taken place yet). A double charge is refunded in full. Refunds go through monobank to the same card, in the same currency and amount, within 14 days, and never exceed the amount paid. This does not limit your rights under the consumer protection law that applies to you (in Israel — section 14C of the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981; in Ukraine — the Law of Ukraine «On Consumer Rights Protection»). To cancel, write to support@shioweb.com — we answer within 24 hours.

WhatsApp messages to guests are sent by the organizer themselves, from their own phone: the service only prepares the text and the link and does not send messages on their behalf.

Guest data is deleted 60 days after the event date (see the privacy policy). Print or save anything you want to keep before then.

We may suspend an event or an account used for unwanted messages, to harm others or in any way against the law, and we will let the organizer know by e-mail.

Do not use the site for any unlawful purpose, send offensive or misleading content through it, try to break into its systems, run robots or automated tools on it, or impersonate anyone else.

The rights in the content, design and marks on the site belong to Individual Entrepreneur (FOP) Iryna Burman or to whoever licensed them to it, and are protected under the Copyright Law, 2007. They may not be copied or used commercially without written consent.

The site is provided as is. We are not liable for damage caused by using the site, relying on general information on it, or a temporary fault — unless the law does not allow such an exclusion.

Links to other sites are provided for convenience only; we are not responsible for their content.

How we use your information is set out in the privacy policy; what we have done to make the site accessible, in the accessibility statement. Both are part of these terms.

We may update these terms; the binding version is the one on the site.

For a customer from Israel, Israeli law applies, including the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, and you may sue in the competent court in Israel according to where you live. For customers from Israel, the Hebrew version of these terms is the binding one.

For customers from all other countries, these terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine and disputes are heard by a court of Ukraine; this does not deprive a consumer of rights that the law of their country of residence does not allow to be excluded by contract.
